Administrator Retirement and Life - Fixed Term Contract

Reporting to the Team Leader

Purpose of the job

The primary responsibility of the Administrator is to maintain a high standard of quality while efficiently validating and processing instructions received by Intembeko. The role requires delivering excellent service to all clients and ensuring that all incoming work is actioned timeously and accurately. This includes correctly processing and capturing instructions, as well as proactively following up on all pended work to ensure completion within required service levels.

Main duties & responsibilities

  • The accurate validation and processing of all client instructions into the administration system and ensuring the constant review and updating of the workflow system.

  • The accurate review of work input into the workflow system.

  • Ensuring all incoming work is captured within required turnaround times and before relevant cut-off times as agreed upon in the Service Level Agreement with the clients.

  • Ensuring that all instructions received comply with business rules and legislative requirements.

  • Assist with the prevention of fraud and money laundering by adhering to business and legal requirements.

  • Technical understanding of Intembeko’s and the clients’ offerings and the ability

  • to apply that understanding to daily outputs.

  • Correct and timeous sighting of errors.

  • Support fellow team members and Team Leader.

  • Ad hoc duties may be given from time to time.

Ideal experience

  • 1 year experience within the Linked Investment Service Provider/Financial Services Industry (Experience within a Unit Trust operational area will be an advantage).

Ideal qualifications:

  • Matric / Grade 12

  • Relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage
